Aleksandar Pavlovic, the former Inter Milan and AC Milan striker, has announced his retirement from professional football after a long career that saw him play for some of Europe's biggest clubs.

The Serbian forward, who spent most of his playing days in Italy, was born on June 14, 1987, and began his career with Partizan Belgrade in Serbia before moving to Inter Milan in 2005. He made his debut for the club in 2006 and went on to become one of their top scorers, helping them win two Serie A titles and one Coppa Italia.

Pavlovic then moved to AC Milan in 2010, where he played for four seasons and scored 111 goals in 252 appearances. He helped the Italian giants win the Serie A title twice during his time at the club.

After leaving Milan in 2014, Pavlovic joined the Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua, but struggled to make an impact there and returned to Serbia to join FK Partizan Belgrade.

In 2019, Pavlovic signed for Turkish club Fenerbahce, where he continued to score goals and help the team compete in the Champions League. However, his career came to an end earlier this year when he announced his retirement from professional football.

Despite being just over 40 years old, Pavlovic has been praised for his skill and dedication to the game throughout his career. He is known for his powerful shots and ability to score crucial goals in important matches.

While Pavlovic may be retiring from the pitch, his legacy as one of the best strikers in European football will live on. He has left a lasting impression on many fans and will always be remembered as a talented player who brought joy to the sport.
